Absolute Fear
Like a double-edged sword, fear works in several ways. In one respect fear acts through the sub-conscious to provide a shield by moderating behavior to deter pursuit of a hazardous action like climbing a cliff or walking a tightrope. On another hand debilitating phobias are produced when unfounded fears are allowed to dominate common sense, like fear of the dark or of an unknown. Then also the mechanism of fear serves, sometimes deliberately, to set up a shield to insulate from knowledge that would invalidate existing beliefs or would require facing an unacceptable, usually an absolute, reality. Some call it compartmentalizing, others relativism. It is tantamount to deliberately closing the mind to a certain reality even though the action does not change the reality. It is the later example that is of interest in this instance.
Both Sir Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein admitted to closing their minds to the reality that the force of gravitational attraction of an inanimate object acted upon another inanimate object at a distance without a physical medium even in the face of the indisputable evidence that the moon caused tides on the oceans of the earth. While they provided no explicit explanation, it is understandable that acknowledgement of a divine in nature gravitational attraction force with no physical component would then require acknowledgement that a source of divine in nature energy existed at the center of every object to power that force along with the need for an eternal energy supply. Such an admission would devastate the community of scientists who have collectively closed their minds to the possibility of any semblance of divine involvement in creation physics. In order to retain standing in the scientific community it is understandable that the fear mechanism would be activated to conceal such an unacceptable absolute. Once set into motion, the practice of relativism to insulate and isolated feared knowledge, is a self-perpetuating self-fulfilling process because of the continuing fear that existing beliefs must be protected against invalidation. Physics is the study of absolutes where ever they lead. There is no place for relativism in physics.
It is ironic that those who profess to be searching for the truth, as regards the physics of creation, would close their minds and deny humanity the benefit of this knowledge, especially since what they profess to believe does not change reality. The moon continues to pull tides on the oceans of the earth with a force powered by an energy that has no physical component that is eternally maintained. That does not prove those things are the work of a creator that some choose to call God nor does belief of these absolute physics principles invoke a need to change ones beliefs concerning a creator God. It is however evident that the source of the energy that powers the force called gravitational attraction that in turn powers the universe is eternal, acts through the core center of every assembly of matter, and extends from the vector center of the universe. It only seems appropriate to give recognition to that fact whether or not the action of a creator, God, Newton, Einstein or something else.
